BUY LIKE JAPANESE
Pika Pika store is a Japanese-themed store that sells various Japanese products, including home and kitchen decorations and food items. In the upcoming project, one of the related functions is to provide portable and customizable cooking classes as a secondary feature, connecting with the audience. The audience will unconsciously encounter this feature during their visit to the store, resulting in an accidental interaction with it.
Client's Requests
The client emphasized the importance of incorporating a Japanese theme throughout the entire store. However, it was crucial to strike a balance so that the store maintained its identity as a retail space and did not give the impression of being a restaurant.
The store is divided into three main sections:
1. Food Products Section:
This area is dedicated to the sale of Japanese food items.
2. Kitchenware Section:
This section focuses on selling Japanese kitchen utensils and related items.
3. Japanese Cooking Class Area:
Located on the upper floor, this space is designated for conducting Japanese cooking classes.
The design and layout of the store were carefully planned to ensure that the Japanese elements were integrated seamlessly while maintaining the store's primary function as a retail space.
